Food was amazing, picturesque and absolutely delectable! The service was clean, organized and fast! The atmosphere was calm, serene and orderly. Chef Shamim and his staff made our wedding day very special! All our guests loved their food and amazing attention to detail! Every step of the way, from the day we walked in to first reserve the restaurant, to the end of the day of our wedding, he carefully tailored and exceeded our expectations! The seafood main course and Tiramisu particularly was a big hit with our guests. We thank you chef and we recommend anyone looking for a place to hold their next event, to hold it here. We will definitely be back!

May 2025 – While passing through Toronto, I decided to revisit the restaurant once more. This time, I requested a custom dish — the Tomahawk Steak. The chef graciously accepted and prepared it to perfection. The steak was exceptionally juicy and tender — truly one of the best I’ve ever had. Many thanks! ************************************************** 2024- Traveling from the U.S.A., I recently had the pleasure of dining at iL Forno in Woodbridge, ON, Canada, and it has quickly become one of my favorite Italian restaurants. During my visits, I tried the Mediterranean pizza, chicken fricassee, grilled rib eye, and salmon fillet. Each dish was exceptionally delicious, with generous portions that left me more than satisfied. The Mediterranean pizza had a perfect blend of flavors, with a crisp crust and fresh toppings. The chicken fricassee was tender and savory, while the grilled rib eye was juicy and flavorful. The salmon fillet was another highlight, perfectly grilled with delightful seasoning. The presentation of the food was also excellent, adding to the meal's enjoyment. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was outstanding. The staff were attentive and friendly, making each visit a pleasant experience. The restaurant's ambiance created a warm and inviting atmosphere. I was so impressed by the authentic taste of the food and the overall experience that I have returned to iL Forno multiple times. It truly stands out as one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever tried, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Had iL Forno Roasted Chicken, cheesecake and cream brulee today. Food was amazing, service was awesome. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend. Definitely will come back.

We went because we couldn't get a booking elsewhere last Saturday, and we were delighted to find a hidden gem. Amazing, delicious, fresh and well presented food, that tasted as good as it looked. The service was quick, though the restaurant was relatively empty, but was nice and quiet to have conversations around the table, rather than being disturbed in crowded restaurants with noisy patrons. We ordered Shrimp Risotto, Veal Parmesan, Meat Lasagna, Lamb Shank, Grilled Calamari, Garlic Toasts, Lemon Tart Brule and Tiramisu. Large portion reasonably priced. Farnaz, the restaurant chef owner came out to introduce himself, and shared his career advances and his dream of starting his own quality restaurant. Kudos to him. Just like you don't judge a book by its cover, I strongly recommend this restaurant will disappoint you and will soon become your favorite. We will be back soon.

This place is a hidden gem! Don't let its location in an industrial business area fool you, the food, wine and service is excellent. Even though they're only 7 months old, they've got strong service and food. To start, we had: - meatballs and garlic toast (saucy and delicious on the toast) - garlic shrimp and garlic toast (garlicky and served with a fresh salad that brought good balance to the savouriness) For mains: - Casareccia (mushroom and chicken pasta in a cream sauce, savoury and light) - Il Forno roasted chicken (great sauce and flavour with garlic mash) - Roasted rack of lamb (cooked medium perfectly with excellent sides) - Linguine pescatore (a massive portion of perfectly cooked pasta and seafood - definitely enough for two meals) With the pear and gorgonzola salad on the side, and tiramisu and chocolate mousse for dessert. The reviews may surprise you, especially given the well-lit photos, but with great wine, plating and lighting this place is really good - surprised us too!

The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the warm olive salad and a funghi pizza. My dining companion had the meatball appetizer and the rigatoni and they were both delicious. For dessert we had lemon tart brulee and tiramisu. Everything was so tasty!

My third time at this place because I absolutely had to try more items on the menu. Came from downtown Toronto and definitely worth the drive. So far I've had multiple pastas, chicken, bbq chicken pizza, fish, lamb, garlic bread, and most of the dessert items. Every single item was incredible. It is rare to find a chef at a restaurant that has this skill and versatility. Thr prices are very affordable as well. I highly recommend coming to Il Forno. Their menu is broad enough that they have something for everyone. You will not be disappointed!

Shamim and the Il Forno team were absolutely amazing. A few weeks ago, I reached out to inquire about hosting our wedding reception at their restaurant, as it’s conveniently located near our ceremony venue. They were so responsive and immediately connected me with Chef Shamim to discuss our needs and ensure they could accommodate us. Today, we visited for the food tasting, and I can’t say enough about how superb everything was. The food was outstanding—each dish was absolutely delicious. Shamim worked with us to curate the perfect menu, and he was very accommodating of our specific requests. We are so excited to celebrate our special day at Il Forno, and we can’t wait to share this experience with our loved ones!
